I teach still life from my own references - this way, I am sure of the skills that each student acquires. I use still life for all. I teach textures (like glass, metal, cloth, etc.), brush strokes, color theory and color mixing, concept, composition and artistic theory.

Acrylic Paint is a modern water based medium adopted by many artists in all painting genres. It is fast drying, permanent, very forgiving, and extremely versatile. Acrylic Painting Studio is designed to meet each student's skill level from beginner to experienced artists wanting to add to their knowledge of painting. Examples of acrylic techniques taught are dry brush, layering, glazing, highlight, shadow, blending, and textures. Additional techniques will be added on an ongoing basic.

During this workshop, you’ll explore essential hand-building methods such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction. These techniques are the foundation of hand-crafted pottery, enabling you to form anything from simple bowls and mugs to more intricate sculptural designs. We will also cover surface decoration, texturing, and glazing, allowing you to add your own artistic flair to your creations. All materials provided.
